One of a group of photos of the one room schoolhouse at Painswick. It is a brick building with four windows visible, and small belfry for the school's bell. The school was located on the corner of Highway 11 and Big Bay Point Road and was used for the Innisfil Historical Society meetings in the 1970s. This is one of a group of photos taken by Tom Arnett in August of 1980. The remaining photos may be viewed by visiting the Innisfil Historical Document Centre at Knock.
