Image of the Avondale farmhouse, taken in 1929. The photograph of the two storied house appears to be taken during the winer, due to the snow on the roof. The farmhouse was originally build by Edwin Johnston. Later, Percy and Allan Johnston lived there - they were not related to Edwin Johnston.
