Died in Penticton Regional Hospital, British Columbia, Elizabeth Jean (Sally) Butler in her 82nd year. She was the wife of Jim Butler of Tecumseth Pines, Tottenham, Ont. and the mother of Patrick (Pat) and Kate, Kevin and Pauline and Steve. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. James Church, Colgan on February 29th, 2008 followed by interment in the cemetery there.

Suddenly in her 45th year Sandra Sue (Patterson, the wife of Donald Butler of Palgrave. She was the mother of Ryan and his wife Kim, Jeffery and Lacey, and the step-mother of Chastity and Duncan. She was the daughter of Norval and Margaret Patterson. She was the sister of Cheryl and Lewis Lawder, Deborah and Michael Smith, Richard Patterson and Linda Kumar, Brent and Diane Patterson, Judy Murrill and Andy Henderson, Earl and Kim Patterson, Tracey and Adam Burkitt and the late Norval, (1955). Funeral service was held in the chapel of the Egan Funeral Home, Bolton on April 4th, 2007 with interment in Morningside Cemetery, Palgrave.

At King City Lodge in her 86th year, wife of the late Augustus (Gus) Butt. She was the mother of Diane and her husband Sid Haynes of Tottenham and of John and his wife Barbara Butt of Australia. She is survived by her sister Mima Drysdale of Scotland. The funeral service was held on August 23rd, 2006 in the Rod Abrams Funeral Chapel in Tottenham followed by interment in Glendale Memorial Gardens.

Suddenly at the home of her daughter in Schomberg, Alma Wright of Beeton in her 84th year, wife of the late George Bye, Mother of Shirley and Bart Voogel of Schomberg and the late Bev Bye. She was the sister of the late Fred Wright of Tara. Funeral service was held in the Rod Abrams Funeral Chapel in Tottenham on January 3rd, 2006 with a later interment in Trinity Cemetery, Beeton.

Basil Philip Cain (1916-2008). One of the original families of King Township, Basil Cain died at York Central Hospital Hospital, Richmond Hill, Ont. He was the son of the late John Cain and Catherine Hanlon. Predeceased by his six brothers and sisters: Olive, John, Florence, Vince, Bernice and Theresa. A Funeral mass was held at Sacred Heart Church in King City on January 31st, 2008 with interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Schomberg. Arrangements by Thompson Funeral Home in Aurora, Ont.
