Webb, Leila Edith Elizabeth
Passed away at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie in her 76th year. She was the wife of the late Eward Albert Webb, (Eddie), dear mother of Bonnie Gough and Blaine Webb, both of Innisfil. She is survived by her sisters Dorothy Moodie, Jean Peacock, Marilyn Crosbie and by her brothers Bill Cochrane and Jack Cochrane. She was predeceased by sisters Eleanor Amon and Shirley Breedon. A celebration of her life was held at Trinity United Church, Thornton on January 6th, 2006.
Webb, Lloyd G.
Died at Royal Victoria Hospital. Barrie, Ont. in his 89th year, the husband of Norma for 66 years. He was the father of Dale (Christine) Webb and of Diane Allan (Bill) and father-in-law of Craig Miller. He was predeceased by his daughters Amelia West and Kim Miller. The funeral service was held in the Innisfil Funeral Chapel in Stroud on September 25th, 2006 followed by interment at St. James United Church Cemetery in Stroud.

Elmer Webber passed away suddenly at York County Hospital in Newmarket. Elmer was 69 years old and lived his life in Cookstown. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Linda Webber. Internment took place at St. John's Cemetery.

Passed away at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, Ont. in his 80th year. Predeceased by his wife O. Jean Winkworth. Missed by daughters Christine Preston of Calgary, Laurie Poole and Tracy Lee Wright of Cookstown. Survived by brother Leighton (and Sue) of St. Catherines, Ont. A memorial service was held at the Cookstown Curling Club on June 26, 2005. He was a founding charter member of Cookstown Lions Club. He had served with both the Royal Canadian Navy and the RCAF.

He was a brother to Julia Webber of Barrie. He had many relatives in the Barrie and Innisfil area, Mary Mateer , Innisfil, Lynne and Jim Greavette of Barrie. He was a cousin of Gloria Webber of Belle Ewart and Lloyd and Steven Robbins of Innisfil. Services were held in Port Elgin, New Brunswick.

He was the father of Dorothea and her husband Lester Kelly of Port Rowan, Ont., John Peter of Innisfil, Marilyn and her husband Ron Madigan of Innisfil, Irene and her husband Bob Cherwaiko of Port Rowan and Stephen of Langton. He was predeceased by his son Martin and his wife Margo. Peter was the brother of Abbott Jerome,OSB, Richard Victor, Mary Louise, Catherine, Sr. Juliana, OSB, and Bernadette. He was predeceased by Bernard, Martin, Leo and Patrick. A funeral mass was held at St. John Vianney Church in Barrie on December 14th, 2006 with interment in the Sixth Line Cemetery, Innisfil, Ont. Arrangements were by the Innisfil Funeral Home in Stroud.

John died at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie in his 75th year of life. He leaves his wife Mary, his son Dirk, and daughter-in-law Mary Lou of Barrie, and his daughter Johanna (Jean) and son-in-law Hank Van Eldik of New Lowell, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The funeral service was held on September 30 at the Cremation Chapel in Thronton.

At the age of 94, husband of the late Martha, Father to step-daughters Norma Magann(Johnson) and Dale Connell(Johnson). He was born and raised in Alberta, served as a Shore Patrol in the Navy and for 35 years was a steam fitter with Anaconda. A memorial service was held on January 19th, 2006 at the Rod Abrams Funeral Home in Tottenham.
