She the mother of Vi Peacock (Roy) of Thornton, and Nancy (Ron) Elliott of Coldwater. She was survived by her sister Mildred (Robert) Clayden of Barrie. She was predeceased by brother Foster , sister Violet and parents Claud and May Grubbs. A service was held at the McClelland and Slessor Funeral Home in Barrie on November 25, 2006 with interment in Barrie Union Cemetery.

She is survived by her brother Bill and many nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home in Kitchener, Ont. A Funeral Mass was held on December 1st, 2007 at St Teresa R. C. Church followed by cremation.
