: Loblaw, Dorothy; Dorothy (nee Pugsley) Died in Park Place Manor in Aurora in her 97th year. A funeral service was held in Aurora and interment took place in Alliston Union Cemetery. She was born in Cookstown and baptized in the Cookstown United Church where she sang in the choir and gave piano lessons to local children. She was predeceased by her husband Cameron Laidlaw. They had three children, Heather, Jim and John who passed away. Cameron and Dorothy operated a Loblaw store in Aurora, Ont. Dorothy's ancestors, the family of Matthew Cooper came from Ireland in 1832 to the 4th line of Innisfil.

A private wake was held on November 13th, 2005 at the home of Greg and Anne Bontje, her granddaughter. A mass was held at St. John the Evangelist Church in Albion.
