Loblaw, Dorothy
Dorothy (nee Pugsley) Died in Park Place Manor in Aurora in her 97th year. A funeral service was held in Aurora and interment took place in Alliston Union Cemetery. She was born in Cookstown and baptized in the Cookstown United Church where she sang in the choir and gave piano lessons to local children. She was predeceased by her husband Cameron Laidlaw. They had three children, Heather, Jim and John who passed away. Cameron and Dorothy operated a Loblaw store in Aurora, Ont. Dorothy's ancestors, the family of Matthew Cooper came from Ireland in 1832 to the 4th line of Innisfil.

Robert Logan (R. J.) died at his home in his 79th year. He was the husband of Marie (Nixon) and the father of Wendy and Peter. He was predeceased by his parents John and Jane Logan. Barbara Jean Long died at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville, Ont. in her 83rd year. She was the wife of the late Bill Long and the mother of Michael and the late Patricia. A memorial service was held in the Rod Abrams Funeral Chapel on December 8th, 2007.

Passed away at the Riverwood Retirement Home in Alliston, Ont. in his 86th year, the husband of Helen (nee Bergin). He was the father of Anne Jones (Gord), Judy deBacker (Will), Terry (Pat), and Danny. He was the brother of Francis (Mary),and predeceased by Terrence, Henrietta Burton, Jaqueline Gibson and Mary (Sister Annette IBVM and Theresa Keogh. He rested at the W. John Thomas funeral home in Alliston and a Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Alliston on February 18th, 2008. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery.

He was predeceased by his parents Alec and Phyllis MacDowell. A private wake was held on November 13th, 2005 at the home of Greg and Anne Bontje, her granddaughter. A mass was held at St. John the Evangelist Church in Albion.
