Ferguson, Bruce W.
At the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 56 years, Bruce W. Ferguson, husband of Pamela (Balabanski) and father of Candace (Jeff) Nicholls and Carol (Kyle) Lougheed. He is survived by his father, William Ferguson, brother John (Lynn) Ferguson, sistersJean Jones and Muriel (Greg) Walker). He was predeceased by his mother Winnifred Ferguson. Bruce grew up in Schomberg, and obtained a B. Sc degree from University of Guelph. He was a long-time employee of DOW AgroSciences. A memorial service was held at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home in Waterloo, Ont. on December 15th, 2006.

Fildey, Bernice
Bernice was born in Cookstown on July 20, 1941, the daughter of Wilfred and Caroline Fildey. She attended Cookstown Public School and Alliston High School. After marrying Jim Purkis she moved to Chatham and then back to Weston, finally settling and raising her children, Bob, Janet and Cathy in Cookstown. In 1980 the Perkis family moved to Florida. She passed away at the age of 65 on August 3rd, 2006.
