Died peacefully at her home in Sandycove Acres, Innisfil at the age of 68 years, the wife of the late Percival (Percy) DeGeer. She was the mother of Brian (Christina) DeGeer of Nova Scotia and of Bruce (Michelle) DeGeer of Midhurst, Ont. She was predeceased by her brothers, Murray McFadden (the late Betty) and John McFadden (Lorna) of Hillsdale. The funeral service was held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Chapel, Minet's Point, Barrie on August 22nd, 2006 followed by interment in Hillsdale United Cemetery.

She was the daughter of Elena and the late Dino Del Bel Belluz of Nobleton. She was the sister of Vivian Del Bel Belluz of Nobleton, Noris and Janiice Del Bel Belluz of Brampton, twin Franca (deceased) and Feliciano Vinco of Nobleton. A funeral mass was held in St. Patrick's Church, Schomberg on March 8th, 2007 with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Nobleton.

A funeral service was held in the chapel of the Innisfil Home in Stroud, Ont. on February 25th, 2008. Interment was in Innisvale Cemetery, Innisfil.
