Photo of Bethesda United Church, formerly a Methodist church, which was closed in 1950. The building was demolished in 1958 by Wesley Hindle and the materials used to build his new home in Cookstown. The only marriage to take place in the church was Jean Hindle to Hartley Evans in 1946. The church was built in frame construction in 1868 and later bricked.
