Photo of the Whane (sometimes spelled Whayne) family burial plot, uncovered by the Innisfil Historical Society in a small cemetery. Margaret Whane and her baby were buried there in 1856. Her husband had come to Canada a year previously. Three days after Margaret and the child arrived to join him, they died of cholera and were buried on the corner of the farm, located on the northwest corner of Sideroad 10 and Conc. 11
