Agnes Barclay (née Beattie) was born in Canonbie, Scotland on 3 May 1807. She married Francis Barclay on 20 May 1825 in Scotland and together with their six children (Mary, George [died in infancy], David, Agnes, John, and William Mina Barclay) moved to NH Lot 16, Conc. 7. They had four more children including Francis, George, Margaret, and Elisabeth. Agnes died on 25 March 1886, twenty six years after her husband Francis. "Barclay House" later becanme a tourist attraction in the form of a tea house. but burned down on New Year's Day 2015.
