Photo of Robert Bateman, born on 18 March 1853. On 15 February 1876 he married Sarah Sawyer. Together they had two children: Edna Maud (Bateman) Allan (1876-1962) and Joseph Morwood Bateman (1878-1896). Robert Bateman died on 18 February, 1933.
