Portrait of Mrs. Maria Louisa Barclay (née Nixon). She was born 1 May 1859 in Cloverhill, ON and died in 1943. She married John Barclay on 8 March 1882. Their children included daughter Georgia (1884-1910), son David "Dee" John Carlyle (1886-1931), daughter Kathleen "Kit" Louise, daughter Eleanor Elizabeth Zeta, and daughter Margaret Armstrong McConkey.
