Studio portrait of Mrs. Louisa Black (née Robins) wearing a dark dress and bonnet, who was born on 27 February 1849 and died on 15 July 1934. Her parents were James Robins and Margaret Gimby. She and her husband Johnston Black were married on 29 November 1871 and lived on SH Lot 17 concession 10. They were the parents of James Arthur (who died at age 20), Mary Louisa (who died in infancy), Herbert, Oswald, and Annie Black, who would later marry Benjamin Webb. Johnston was the son of James Black and Mary Latimer, two of Innisfil's earliest pioneers who emigrated from Dungannon Ireland in 1847 with their children and James' brother John and sisters Isabella and Sarah.
