Photo from 1953 of the wheat harvest on the Lemuel Hubbert farm. Pictured from left to right are: George Saunders on the binder, Bill Wice, Lemuel Hubbert, Eric Saunter (child) on tractor with his father, Alick Saunter. Lemuel and his wife Violet purchased the farm in on the south half of lot 17, concession 17 in 1915. The farm then passed to their daughter Jean and her husband Alick, which eventually was inherited by their son Eric. The photo shows the new Ford tractor the Saunters had purchased in 1950 along with a new threshing machine.
