Image taken in 1935 of the barn raising of James Leonard and Annie Leonard. In the image, most of the structural beams have been assembled above the stone foundation. The beams are exposed as no siding or roof has been put on yet. The following description is taken from a tape recorded discussion between Don Beatty (R.R.1 Lefroy) and John Cowan (Knock) at the Innisfil Historical Society: " This shows a picture of the barn raising of James Leonard and Annie Leonard's farm, Lot 23, Concession 10, in 1935. They had a barn dance after it was finished".
