Mr. and Mrs. Davis's family of five daughters and four sons were all present at the celebration except one daughter who was living in the Yukon.

On Tuesday April 11, 1950, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cooper celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary at their home on Highway 27 about two miles north of Cookstown. Mr. and Mrs. Cooper settled on this farm immediately following their marriage and resided there for the entirety of their lives. They had one son, Arthur, who married Grace Robertson and had three sons: William, John and James.
