It is a small white building with two windows on either side of the front door with Dorothy wearing what looks like a long gingham dress. After selling their farm on Lot 12 Concession 13, they moved to the location pictured here, which had previously been Dorothy's grandmother's house (Mrs. Joshua Collins). Joshua Collins purchased the property in 1868 from Benjamin and Sarah Carr for $42.50. Mr and Mrs. Lennox had three sons: John Vaughn, born December 5th, 1922; Allan Dalton, born October 13, 1925; and Gordon Melville, born October 14th, 1928., IHS2290

Addie Brown was born on the 5th Concession of Flos and came to Dalston with her parents and family to farm. David Peacock was born in Scotland and came to Canada with his parents as a child. They were married in Dalston. In the photo, David is seated and dressed in a dark suit with pinstripe pants while Addie stands to his left wearing a long light coloured dress with a long sleeved jacket and a white ruffled blouse., IHS4341
