: Early Loblaw Store; Photo from the opening of one of the first Loblaw grocery stores. It depicts a group of people posed for a photo standing on the sidewalk in front of the new store, beneath signs stating "We sell for less," "Self Serve," and "No Waiting." The store's founder Theodore Loblaw was born in Elmgrove, northeast of Alliston.
