Ice harvesting off of the 8th Line of Innisfil. Workers are loading ice blocks onto a horse drawn wagon to be taken to the ice storage house on shore. The last season of ice removal was likely February and March of 1952., IHS4199(c)

Samuel Wray - came from Ireland and lived on 5th line in a log house in the 1800's. His wife, Ma (as she was called) died very young.She was related to the Highlands. They had one son, and four daughters. The son's name was William (Will). Daughters were Letisha, Mary, Margaret, Liz-Ann. They are buried at Cherry Creek Cemetery., IHS561
