: Reforestration Program - Simcoe County; This maple tree was planted near the gateway to the reforestration area on the east side of Highway 27, just north of Concession 11. Students from local schools (Nantyr, Killyleagh and others) came by car and truck to plant trees for part of the day. Squares were already marked off and a tree was planted in each square. Hundreds of trees were planted that way as part of the Simcoe County reforestration program., IHS4230
