Mr. and Mrs. William and Mary (née Mason) Summers/Somers of Stroud at the Thornton Old Boys' Reunion. Mr. Summers lived on Lot 7, Concession 10. The oxen were owned and trained by Edward Guest of Big Bay Point. Mr. Guest lived on the east half of Lot 25, Concession 13, and as he got older and his sons started to run the farm, he started to rein this yoke of oxen.
