After selling their farm on Lot 12 Concession 13, they moved to the location pictured here, which had previously been Dorothy's grandmother's house (Mrs. Joshua Collins). Joshua Collins purchased the property in 1868 from Benjamin and Sarah Carr for $42.50. Addie Brown was born on the 5th Concession of Flos and came to Dalston with her parents and family to farm. David Peacock was born in Scotland and came to Canada with his parents as a child. They were married in Dalston.
