Bessie (King) Cameron

Portrait of Bessie Cameron (née King), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. King of Holly. Mrs. Cameron was a teacher at Codrington Street School in Barrie for 21 years. She taught at Holly from 1937 to 1952 and taught for a total of 45 years. She also taught at Port Stanton, Jarratt, Northbrook and retired in 1973. She was the provincial convener of goodwill committee for the Federation of Women's Teachers of Ontario for four years. She later married Reginald Srigley., IHS2102
