The story of Innisfil began in 1820 with the official survey that laid out the boundaries and concessions. Since then many things have happened. The first historical review was published to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the municipality in 1951, with supplements being published in 1967 and 1984.
This new edition is titled 2020 Historical Review – Town of Innisfil, which refers to the 200th anniversary of the survey of Innisfil and the organization of the size, shape and layout of the town that we now call home. People’s stories are at the heart of this new venture.
